Jennifer Kay Hartsook, 52, of Carlinville, passed away Thursday morning, September 17, 2020 at her residence in Carlinville, IL. Jennifer was born on May 12, 1968 to Gerald "Jerry" and Carolyn (Combes) Lippold in Carlinville, IL. She graduated from Kingwood High School in Kingwood, TX. Jennifer worked as an assistant manager for Area Diesel in Carlinville for several years. She enjoyed horses, the beach, shooting guns, riding 4-wheelers, spending time with her friends, and most of all, being with her grandchildren. Jennifer is survived by her father, Jerry (Ann Peasley) Lippold of Carlinville; mother, Carolyn "Kay" Richter of Carlinville; son, Jesse (Kaitilyn) Hartsook of Carlinville; 2 grandchildren, Claire and Maximus Hartsook both at home; sister, Elizabeth Stewart of Carlinville; step-brother, Michael (Debra) Richter of Corpus Christi, TX; step-sister, Cassie (Gary) Walz of Houston, TX, as well as several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 25, 2020, at 10:00 am at Ss Mary and Joseph Catholic Church in Carlinville with Rev. Michael Haag officiating. Memorials are suggested to Macoupin County T.A.I.L.S. or Siteman Cancer Center. Online condolences can be given at www.davisandersonfuneralhome.com.
