Although this kind of news is always a surprise to us and there are a million other things we would have rather heard about, I’d like to point out that Tim Wiles was one of the most positive people that I have ever known!
She was also one of the funniest. We always joked about lots of things and I remember especially about a funny moment. Greg and I were roommates for a couple of years. As a result I had the honor to be the Wiles family guest to the Indy 500 a few times. We stayed at their relatives home, the Huyears in Indianapolis. One morning Tim and I wanted a cup of coffee and they had a coffee machine, not a coffee pot. So, not knowing how to operate this thing we did the best we could and came up with a pot of coffee that was so strong you could stand a fork straight up in the cup. Before we could dump it out and try again everyone woke up and of course poured themselves a cup. Tim and I sipped on that coffee like nothing was wrong and watched everyone else have a fit over that brew! I think only Earl knew what we’d done as he sat quietly reading the newspaper. I hope you get a kick out this true story about this remarkable woman. She would want you to laugh I think.❤️✝️
