Condolences
Betty was a wonderful lady with the singing voice of an angel. She is in heavens choir adding to its beauty.
Aunt Betty was a strong woman of faith. She lead a rich life filled with the mountains and valleys that describe a life here on earth. Now she will have the peace found in the arms of Jesus. She was like a sister to my mom and dad rather than a sister-in-law. I have fond memories of all our family get togethers. She and Uncle GW taught me to square dance. I do remember her raising a raccoon in the house, which my mom just couldn't understand! We all laughed about that. When Mike died, she asked me to stay at the house while his funeral was held so I could be there when people dropped off food. I didn't want to miss the funeral, but I was honored that she trusted me to do that for them. She had a beautiful voice and enjoyed her music. I'm sure she is singing in a Heavenly choir. May we meet again someday with all the family who passed before us. My love and prayers to her family.
Betty was the reviewer for our USDA/FmHA office. We always dreaded her visit as we were afraid of the errors she might find but because of her wonderful smile and disposition you looked forward to her visiting as well. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
I worked with Betty during the USDA/FmHA days. I was located in the Macoupin County office and she was our reviewer. Then when Betty moved to the Village of Morse Farms, my father was also there. So again I was able to catch up. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family!
