Condolences
I’m so very sad to hear about Bill. I’m thinking about you and your family and keeping you in my prayers that God will speed His healing peace to your hearts!
LOVE & {{{ BIG Hugs }}} Kathy Davis
Thinking about all the good times we all had when we came to visit. One comes to mind. David put some mattresses down below the deck and all of is boys were standing on the deck and our dad's were in the kitchen. David or Darren or heck both jumps over the side and lands on the mattresses and our dad's about flipped out. It was so funny. Good times.
Dear Susan and Family (Denise, Dave, Dana, Darren & Doug),
Our family was so sorry to hear of Bill's passing and wanted to send our love and sympathy to you and your families.
I remember the first time I ever met "Dave's Dad" many years ago just like it was yesterday. While first impressions were "This was a guy to be feared!", as I got to know Bill more over time, what I remember actually was that his casual and kind style put you quickly at ease and his sense of humor and twinkle in the eye were always right there if you paid attention. I also remember hearing some of his stories of the far-fetched places he worked and on such difficult and important projects. How is a guy who lived in Albion, IL so worldy?! And Susan and Bill were such a perfect complement to each other from where I sat - 58+ years of marriage is such an incredible story.
I can only imagine how much he will be missed by you all.
I remember so many fun times at your home in Albion and being so warmly invited in by you all with no end date/time on how long I could stay. There was always serious action happening at the Horton household and I never wanted to leave! So please, also accept a very belated thanks from my *much younger* self for all of your family's hospitality.
May you and your families have peace in your hearts during this time and the joy from a lifetime of wonderful memories of your years together with Bill.
Deepest condolences,
Dan and Cara Marriott & Family
