Condolences
I idealized her when I was a child, she always showed up at every family event, with a smile on her face, a kind word for everyone. She was always offering to help and asking would she could bring. She always looked amazing. My heart is broke, but I find peace knowing she’s in a better place. And now with her love my Uncle Sam. She passed on the same day as my dad. August 20th and I’m sure they have a lot of catching up to do. ❤️
Bea was one of the kindest woman I knew. She was such a comfort to so many students at Blackburn. She always had a smile and a kind word.
Bea made the best red velvet cake and was always willing to share. :)
I know she will be missed by her family. Gene so sorry for your loss. Your mother was quite a special lady.
Mrs. Watson always made you smile and feel welcome at Blackburn College. She provided help and a hug if needed. She was one of the many positive people I met and worked with at Blackburn. Thank you, Bea.

Bea welcomed every student to campus with her big heart and warm personality. Bea always had a smile and was an important part of Blackburn through her personality and job on campus.

Bea was such a lovely lady. I knew her best through Country Financial. She always came in with that great smile of hers. Always a great and positive attitude
The world was blessed with her presence for those if knew her

Bea was such a wonderful lady. So kind, loving, friendly and generous. She never met a stranger. She was always smiling and laughing. It’s so sad to see another Carlinville Icon leave us. She was a blessing to so many. Prayers to the family!
I grew up a few houses down Sumner Street from Bea and Sam. Some of my earliest memories are of spending the night at the Watson house with Gene. The Watsons were my second family and always treated me as one of their own. Bea never met a stranger and was a friend to all. When I think of class, dignity, and I kindness I think of Bea Watson - she made the world a better place. Joe Tieman
So sad to hear this, just had one good visit with her since we became neighbors. Such a sweet lady. Our sympathy goes out to all of her family. Marvin and Jane Hull
Bea was such a wonderful woman. She took on a mother role for many of us at Blackburn. Even after I graduated she was open to phone calls asking for help or advice. She will be missed by many.
