Words can’t express the sadness I have today from hearing of my favorite Uncles passing.
Uncle John,
Still today I laugh and thank you for always making me tougher than most girls. I still hear your voice all these years later, from when I was younger and we lived in Carlinville, and all the boys in our family would terrorize me, and I would come running to you and my dad (Jay), standing at the back of your old pickup truck for help….“Now sis don’t go a cryin’ get out there and whoop them boys right back, nothin cryin is gonna fix”! Your words certainly stuck with me all these years, and definitely made me tougher than you’ll ever know, even through adulthood thus far.

You’ve always been that loving Aunt, and human being that most people wish they had in their lives. My most deepest condolences and sympathies go to YOU, John Jr., James, and the rest of the immediate family members.
