Condolences
Earl was my elementary school baseball coach. He was so patient with us at that age and was there for my first homerun at the West Park. Earl happily took me to the Virden square for my free ice cream cone. I will never forget that day or him.
Always remember him telling George “buy farm ground, they don’t make it anymore “. What a hoot he was
I am so very sorry to hear of Earl’s passing. He was a wonderful man. My deepest condolences. Praying fir Earl’s family during this difficult time.
I met Earl in 2007. You talk about the art of the deal. I was introduced to Earl through Fred Smith. We drove to Brighton and looked at a farm together. It was 185 acres. I told him where I was and what I wanted to offer. He let me know that it was a great deal at that offer and let him know if I got it...and I did. I didnt.know him well but to give me his time and knowledge was appreciated more than you know. As Fred.would say, "Rest in peace my friend" and thank you.
I’m so sorry for your loss.
