. Ritz Marie Rigney, 76 of Girard, Il passed away on January 20, 2024 at her Residence in Nilwood, Il. Surrounded by her family. A private Graveside service will be held at Girard City Cemetery on Friday February 2nd, 2024 at 11:00am, followed with a Celebration of Life at Girard Community Center. Ritz M. Rigney was born in Springfield, Il to Willard H. and Alice Mae Rigney on December 13, 1947. She attended Girard School District. She was a stay at home mother that enjoyed cooking, crocheting, canning, quilting, gardening, working Jigsaw puzzles, bingo and spending time with her family and friends. Ritz M.Rigney is survived by her daughters, Shelly (Duane) Cook of Nilwood, IL, Lisa Damm Brown of Rushville, IL, Donna Wise of Carlinville, Il, Tammy (Mark) Frankford of Carlinville,IL, and Melissa (Brian) Zorger of Planfield, Il, 16 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren, Siblings, Ida Pierson of Auburn, IL, Terry (Vicky) Rigney of Girard, IL, Connie King of Springfield, IL, Roger (Joan) Molohon of Girard, IL, Joey and Duane Molohon of Girard,IL, and Debra (Lance) Hogan of Girard, IL. She is proceeded in death by her Parents, Willard Rigney (Father), Alice Molohon (Mother) and Joseph Molohon (Step Father), Sisters, Diane Black and Barbara Verry and Brother Steve Rigney.
