Obituary of Dallas Ray Bolton Sr.

Dallas Ray Bolton Sr., age 78, was born December 12th, 1945 in Nilwood, IL, and passed on June 12th, 2024 in Olive Branch, MS. His parents were Melvin Robert Bolton and Josie Opal (Miller) Bolton. He graduated from Girard Community High School in 1966. He served in the Army as a tank mechanic and was a Vietnam Veteran. Dallas owned Bolton & Sons Tractor Repair in Byhalia, MS. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, being outdoors, gardening, cooking, and watching westerns. Dallas was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Robert and David Bolton and grandson Jacob Bolton. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024 from 9:00 to 11:00 am at Davis Anderson Funeral Home, Girard, IL. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00am at Davis Anderson Funeral Home, Girard. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Girard, IL. Dallas is survived by his soulmate, Deloris Mills, sister, Sandra (Marty) Betty, daughter, Karen (John) Miller, sons; Steven (Jessica Tranquilli) Bolton, Adam (Starla) Bolton and Dallas Bolton Jr., three grandsons; Issac, Zachary, and Skyler, one granddaughter, Cheyanne, two great-grandchildren, Mailani and Norman, as well as his Great Pyrenees named Bandit and his cat Lovebug.
