Condolences
I can think of no one who suffered loss like Martha. Losing her sons before her has to have been the worse loss a mother can imagine. She always seem to manage somehow. I would always see her smile and say " oh I am doing fine". She was truly a remarkable lady. Enjoy your reunion Martha with those who have gone before you. Jennifer Whitlock
Martha was a long time friend of my mother, Helen Hacke. I knew Martha from when I was a little kid. My mom, (who is 92 and has been living with us for 18 mos.) Frank & myself would like to express our sympathies to all of Martha's families. God Bless!
I'm sure my grandma had touched other lives as she had mine. Strong and determined she lived a simple but productive life. She had such a great ability to overcome some of lifes most terrible times and still keep her great smile and wonderful giggle that would make you laugh. I was blessed to know her as well as her mother Grandma Proctor growing up. Both have left a positive impression on me. A long wait, but surely Wilbert was there as well as the boys to welcome her to heaven. I will miss her and the simpler times she reminded me of. A special thanks to my Aunt Betty for being there for Grandma after the passing of her sons. Her commitment helped Grandma through some rough times in her later years. It was comforting to know Betty was there to look after her. God Bless
