Kenny, I can sympathize with your feelings now sine I lost my wife 8 months ago. It was good to talk with Roberta when I called about our GCHS reunion this past summer. My prayers are with you and your family.

Kenny, John,and Denise -- we were so sorry to receive the news of Berta's passing. From those few years at Mare Island, California to all these years later after Navy retirement, we've remained friends, keeping in touch through Christmas cards, and later, through Facebook -- it was a friendship that time and distance never completely took away. We sure wish you'd both been able to make that planned camping trip up our way, or that we could have made it to your 50th anniversary celebration. Please know we are thinking of you, and we'll miss Berta very much. Ann and Mac

Kenny---we are so sorry to hear of Roberta's passing------It seems like just a few weeks ago that we were all laughing at Melinda's house in Springfield. Our family moved to Scottville in March 1949 and the Kroeger family was 1/4 mile kitty-cornered across a field from us. Roberta was a close class mate of mine and cousin Armetta's from 2nd grade until your marriage in 1958. I have many memories of school and other events with the Kroeger family thru out those years. And all of them good-------------

We are going to miss Bert when we come visit. So glad we stopped by in October. Take care Ken. We will be thinking of you all.
