When I think of you, Joe, the song, “Humble and Kind,” describes how you lived your life. Thank you for including me as part of the family on my many visits to Girard over these 52 years since meeting Mary at Colorado State University.

My healing thoughts go out to Joe’s family who he adored. His legacy lives on in all of you.
